Dr. Uesaka's research focuses on magnetic recording, micromagnetic simulation, and magnetic materials. He was with the Central Research Lab. Hitachi Ltd., where he was engaged in the development of magnetic recording tapes, disc drives, and magnetic sensors from 1971 to 1997. He joined the College of Engineering, Nihon University in 1997.
